When Orica Mining Services set out to evolve their flagship Bulk Master platform, KEVOS® was entrusted with the engineering redesign that would carry the system into its next operational era. The challenge was clear: deliver a truck capable of withstanding the punishing realities of mine-site operations, while reducing weight, improving safety, and modernising the operator experience — without compromising the platform's proven field performance.

Our team approached the brief as a complete structural and systems rethink. The legacy welded chassis was replaced with precision-engineered sheet metal profiles, fundamentally improving strength-to-weight ratio and long-term durability. Around this new structural backbone, we re-engineered the loading architecture, refined the control interface, and integrated a safety system aligned with the latest industry compliance standards.

The result is the Bulk Master Series 7 — a stronger, lighter, and smarter bulk explosive delivery truck purpose-built for the demands of modern mining operations. The redesign delivered measurable gains in fuel efficiency, loading throughput, and operator usability, while reducing maintenance exposure and on-site risk. Beyond the technical outcomes, the project reinforced KEVOS®' position as a trusted engineering partner to global mining leaders, capable of translating complex industrial requirements into refined, production-ready solutions.
